Koolina Marina is a full service 342 slip marina on Oahu's Southwest Shore. Boaters who lease slips have access to water, electricity, cable television hook-up, telephone, laundry and restroom facilities, picnic area with barbecues and gated entry to the Marina. There is also a 160-foot floating fuel dock offering both diesel and gasoline with a pump-out station that is accessible to larger vessels.

Boat Ramp- Koolina Marina is equipped with a large boat ramp and 30 parking stalls for vehicles and trailers. The facilities are located on private property with allowed non-commercial public use. Applications for the boat ramp may be filled by contacting the main office. It is approximately $25/ day of use.

Located on the beautiful leeward coast of Oahu's West Side, Koolina Marina opened in 2000, the first marina to be built in the state of Hawaii in over 30 years and the only one that was designed to meet the needs of world-class mega yachts.
Typically commercial activity is not allowed in Koolina Marina, but the Harbor Master is known to make exceptions time to time. Expect to pay a significant rate for commercial activity upwards of 25% of gross revenue.
Koolina marina has 30 and 50 amp power outlets. Electricity to each slip is metered individually. Electricity is billed one month behind, so you will not see an electric charge on your first month’s statement. Boaters are responsible for their last month’s electric charges at the time of their departure.
Koolina Marina has a number of rules that govern the activity of slip holders and guests. Although the rules are not posted, only slip holders may access the marina. Beyond that, pay for your parking and use your best judgmenet and reach out to the office to clarification on any specific rules you may have questions about.
Full time liveaboards are typically not allowed, but the harbormaster has been known to make exceptions on a case by case basis for an additional fee.
Mooring rates vary depending on the size of the vessel. These range from $20-26 for those recreational vessels under 70ft. After 70ft the cost of mooring increases significantly. Rate sheet may be downloaded below.
Boat Slips- To obtain a slip, you must first obtain prior approval from the Harbor Master. The approval process takes approximately 1-3 weeks or less once your application has been, provided there are open and available slips.

There are 2 sets of private men's and women's restrooms that are accessible for Harbor tenants using a key fob. There are also private showers and laundry facilities accessible by key fob. There are men's and women's public restrooms in the Koolina Lagoon 4 (Ulua Lagoon) available during daytime hours. This is located to the West or ocean side of the Koolina Marina (2 minute walk).
Koolina is a private gated facility with security cameras, gated parking lot, and roaming security patrol.
Harbor Tenant Parking is $100.00 per month when available. Guest or Beach Parking is a flat $20 with no overnight parking.
Koolina Marina has suspended the waitlist for slips in their marina for a couple years. However that is expected to change soon (written 4/25). Reach out to the office to get questions regarding the waitlist, but you must first own a boat and provide the list of documents above. You may not be a prospective buyer and get onto the list prior to purchasing a vessel.
