Hawaii Yacht Club is a historic organization established in 1901, making it among the oldest and most storied clubs in Hawaii. HYC is located within the Ala Wai Harbor in Waikiki on the island of O'ahu. In the spirit of its home, the Club is a true "gathering place" offering a variety of social events, educational and recreational programs, a full bar and galley, a Ships Store with exclusive HYC merchandise, and wonderful activities such as the famous Friday Night Races, hosted by Hawaii Yacht Club for over 80 years.

HYC is an historic club established in 1901 and is among the oldest and most prestigious clubs in Hawaii. The Club is located within the Ala Wai Harbor at the edge of Waikiki on the Island of Oahu.
There are 30 amp plug ins for member vessels as well as guest vessels on the Aloha Dock.
Hawaii Yacht Club is a private Club open to members and guests. There are house rules that apply to all those on property.
Full time liveaboards are not permitted. However visiting yachts may stay onboard their vessel overnight while docked at the Club.
Visting or guest yachts are typically charged $2/ft/day.

There are private mens and women's restrooms and showers in the Clubhouse on the first floor.
Hawaii Yacht Club is a private gated Club with locked dry storage areas for its members.
There is parking available for $1/ hr through the parking kiosks or paid through the QR code on the signs in the harbor. There is free parking until 10pm in the surfer's lot which is at the SE end of the Ala Wai Harbor (approximately a 5 minute walk). There is also permit parking available for those harbor users with boats.
Any member except Honorary and Non-Resident members may apply for and retain position on wet and dry mooring lists. Only Senior and Life members may be designated as “active” on the list for wet mooring assignment.
There is currently a waiting list for all slips at HYC. To be added to the waitlist, please fill out an application and turn it into the Front Office.
