The Caliber 40 LRC is one of the most reliable blue water boats on the market today. Each boat was built custom to order with only the highest end materials and with goal of being sailed extensively around the world. Sporting an encapsulated hybrid fin keel, a skeg hung rudder, and a solid fiberglass hull there is no situation this boat cannot handle. The "Long Range Cruiser" Version of the caliber 40 comes with increased tankage for both water and fuel, which allows it cross oceans comfortably without the need of strapping in additional fuel or water stores.

"Silver Moon" is an exquisite example. She has served just one owner over her 20 years, and they have sailed extensively all over the pacific, as far as New Zealand and back. The current owners experience shows through with many nifty upgrades and solutions to the challenges that all boats face in their own way while sailing offshore. Everything from his electrical system, to his steel solar arch/davits, to his custom anchor snubber system has been designed for and proven its worth while cruising long term.

When it comes to cruising, if you can dream it, this boat has it. Watermaker, Solar, Wind Turbine, upgraded alternator, Air Conditioning, 120v and 220v AC electrical systems, electric halyard winch, dodger/bimini... and the list goes on.

Up top - her enclosed cockpit is large, comfortable, and set up for ease of use - perfect for long crossings

Down below - she is spacious and beautiful. Her galley is large and well equipt with a large fridge/freezer, 3 burner stove, oven, and a double sink. Tucked neatly behind is a cozy nav station. Opposite the galley is the first of 2 heads and a large quarterberth, ideal for sleeping underway. Forward is a spacious salon with ample seating, and a large table that folds neatly to the bulkhead. All seating is easily converted for sleeping. Forward of the mast is the Master stateroom, with a full size bed and its own dry head with a dedicated stand up shower, you won't find yourself missing the comforts of home.

If your dream is to go far and stay a long time, this boat is for you.
